Mexican Independence
Day Festival 2023
September 16th & 17th
Presented by The Mexican Cultural Center of DuPage
The Weekend long celebration takes place from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm Saturday and Sunday 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Festival is held in historic downtown West Chicago.
Activities for the day include performances by Ballet Folklorico, musical performances, children’s activities, and a 13 foot piñata. Food vendors and local businesses and organizations are asked to join us in the downtown celebration by providing food, hands-on information booths and activities. This year booths will be located on Galena and Main Street.

For your convenience, drop off vendor and parade applications at Main Street Republic Bank or Gallery 200 by August 30.
The Parade Map
This year's parade has a different route. We begin on Sunday, September 17th at 1:00 PM on Main St by Tampico and end in the historic downtown West Chicago.
